A two course lunch and coffee cost £17.50 which includes the cost of our meeting rooms, and is payable on the morning of the meeting.


Social Events

As well as our meetings, we organise social gatherings for Members, Members’ Wives and Guests. These vary from lunches, theatre trips and social evenings to day trips and short holidays, sometimes abroad. Our “Club Events” page lists the latest activities.


Lentune Ladies

The Wives and Widows of Lentune Probus members have their own 'Lentune Probus Ladies Club'. They also meet at “South Lawn Hotel” on the first Wednesday of each month from September to May, and hold social functions to which the men are invited.

Welcome to The Lentune Probus Club

The club was founded  September 1978 in Lymington, which is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as “Lentune”.


Our Aim

The aim of the Club is to promote fellowship amongst retired Professionals and Businessmen resident in Lymington and the New Forest area.


The Club is non-political and non-sectarian.


Annual subscription is £15 payable in January.  New Members pay pro-rata rate.


Meetings

Meetings are held at South Lawn Hotel, Milford on Sea in the New Forest area on the morning of the second Monday of each month except August. See “Events Calendar” for details.


The usual format of our meeting is:

10.00 a.m.

12.00 noon


12.30 p.m.

Assemble for coffee


Commence Meeting, Club Business followed  by a Speaker


Adjourn to the Bar
