ANTIQUES APPRAISAL
Thursday 27th March
Ever wondered what that antique or family heirloom in your loft is worth and what you would do with the money if you ever sold it?
Bring it to the Club's Antiques Appraisal at South Lawn on 27th March, for expert valuation by Tim Anthonisz, who began his career at Sotherby's and was a valuer on the BBC Antiques Roadshow. Then enjoy a convivial lunch with your fellow club members and guests.
PROGRAMME
Book your attendance and menu choice in the Members Area of the club website as usual and ensure payment is made (preferably by BACS) no later than 16th January to the Ladies Club account. Account details will be found in the Members Area.
Unfilled places will be offered to other clubs after this date.
South Lawn's Pavilion Suite will be open from 09.30am on the day. You are requested to arrive promptly, don your name badge, place your antique on the designated table and proceed through to the far end of the Pavilion, where coffee will be served.
The meeting will start promptly at 10.00am with an introductory talk about antiques, by Tim Anthonisz, followed by his valuation of the items on display.
Pre-lunch drinks will then be served in the bar from 12.15pm followed by lunch and we shall depart at leisure, not forgetting to take our antique with us!
COST
The cost of the Antiques Appraisal event is £36.00 per person (£36.50 if paying by cheque or card). This is inclusive of coffee on arrival, the antiques appraisal/valuation, lunch with a glass of house white or red wine, followed by coffee and chocolate mints.
Additional drinks may be purchased at the bar.
