Lentune Probus Men met on 11th April for their monthly meeting. Unfortunately, our planned speaker from LPA Made Simple was unable to present his talk on Powers of Attorney due to an unfortunate last-minute personal accident. Nevertheless, this gave members the opportunity to discuss a wide variety of relevant club business, in addition to lasting powers of attorney as the important subject of the day. LPA Made Simple is the organisation recommended by Age UK, which specialises in drawing up and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney for both finance and care.

Lentune Ladies were unable to meet for their monthly lunch meeting in April. Their next scheduled meeting is on 4th May for a talk on the Naomi House children’s hospice.

It is encouraging to note that Lentune Probus Men has recently welcomed several new members.

Social events in May include a visit to the New Forest Fruit farm on 10th May. Members are also looking forward to the Spring Luncheon at MJ's Restaurant in Brockenhurst on 19th May, together with the Club holiday in Kent in June.
