Lentune Probus Ladies gathered at the slightly later time of 11.30am and enjoyed mulled wine and stollen while chatting in the South Lawn Hotel lounge. Thanks were offered to Angela and all the staff of South Lawn Hotel for all they had done for us during the year. 

Promptly at 12.30 we moved through to the dining room, admiring the beautifully decorated tables, before enjoying a three course lunch, followed by mince pies and coffee. 

Raffle tickets had been bought before lunch and the draw took place for a wonderful array of donated prizes. We learnt subsequently that the raffle raised a magnificent £165.50. 

Then on to a couple of quizzes which kept the group guessing. The first one had a slowly revealed Christmas theme and the second revolved around chocolate. Much fun was had by all and after wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year we departed, looking forward to our next meeting on the altered day of Monday 6 January.
