Our speaker on this occasion will be David Skillen and his subject: "Knitters, Nailers and Traitors".

David will explain how Belper, a small town in Derbyshire, helped to change the world; how one family, the Strutts, changed the way we work for ever and how they built a thriving community that survives to this day.

We shall enter one of the world’s first skyscrapers and meet the man who betrayed Belper’s secrets.
