On Wednesday evening 21^st February, members and friends of the Lentune Probus and Lentune Probus Ladies clubs met at The Huntsman, Brockenhurst, to compete for the Club’s prestigious Skittles Cup.

As always, competition was intense between our ladies and men’s clubs and between family members. Regular bowls players took an early lead, prompting suggestions they should be handicapped on future occasions (suggestions please?).

Play was paused for an excellent supper after which the final play-off took place, with Rob Perkins emerging triumphant for the second year running! Men’s Club Secretary Basil Jefferies was awarded the Lentune Wooden Spoon.

Reluctant to leave, members then played an exciting round of Killer Skittles before departing, spirits high, on what was a very wet and windy night.
