54 members and guests gathered at the Lord Bute Restaurant, Highcliffe, today, for the Club’s 8^th consecutive Annual Summer Luncheon at this venue.

Chris Denley, the Lord Bute’s General Manager & Coordinator and his staff, delivered an outstanding value-for-money, three-course luncheon, with a good selection of dishes per course.

In a brief vote of thanks, Club Secretary Bill Basham thanked Chris, his front of house and kitchen staff, for the excellent meal. He also thanked Trevor Rock, the Lentune Probus member, who organised the event, saying his commitment to the club, attention to detail and determination to make each event perfect, was exceptional.

Members and guests arrived and left in bright, sunny weather, avoiding a violent downpour during the meal.

The next Summer Luncheon, also at the Lord Bute Restaurant, is scheduled for Friday 14^th August 2020.
