Lentune Probus Ladies Club met on Wednesday 7th February for a gripping talk about “Edward & Mrs Simpson” and their alleged association with the Nazis during the build up to, and throughout, WW2. Was he a naive pacifist or a traitor king?

It was a spell-binding talk and 35 ladies were still discussing it as they enjoyed a delicious lunch at South Lawn Hotel. Several members even recalled their personal memories of that time. Overall, a most enjoyable and thought provoking morning was enjoyed.
